Middle-Earth 6-Film Collection
$110 (was $130)
See at AmazonIf you like to do an annual rewatch of the complete Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies every year, it's a lot easier to accomplish when you own a physical copy of the films. If you're looking for a comprehensive 4K Blu-ray collection, the Middle-Earth 6-Film Collection is worth considering since it contains Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies in one collection. The box set normally retails for $130 but is featured in Amazon's early Prime Day sale for $110, saving you 15% off the MSRP.
This is a great deal on the hefty film set, but it's not the only major deal Amazon's got for Lord of the Rings fans, as some beautiful editions of Tolkien's novels are up to 63% off. And if you're a physical media collector, Amazon also has some good Blu-ray and DVD sales in advance of Prime Day. We've got a list of highlights later in the story, so stay tuned if you'd like to flesh out your collection.

This box set contains both the theatrical and extended versions of all six films in 4K Ultra HD and remastered Blu-ray, as well as digital copies. Howard Shore's glorious score sounds crisper than ever thanks to a Dolby Atmos TrueHD soundtrack. The total content spans across 30 discs, and it includes audio commentary and featurettes about the making of the films. Subtitles are available in English, French, and Spanish.
See at AmazonReleased in 2001, The Lord of the Rings is Peter Jackson's Academy Award-winning retelling of J.R.R. Tolkien's legendary fantasy trilogy about the adventures of Frodo Baggins and friends as they journey to fight evil and save Middle-Earth. Jackson took home a total of 17 Academy Awards for the trilogy, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Cinematography. Jackson followed up in 2012 with The Hobbit trilogy, which received a total of seven Academy Award nominations.
This is a great deal on the hefty film set, but it's not the only early Prime Day deals Lord of the Rings fans should check out. The retailer is also discounting the giant, Deluxe Illustrated Editions of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and The Silmarillion All three special edition hardcover books come with a slipcover and premium details like cloth board covers, quarterbound leather spines, and collectible inserts. The set would normally retail for $640, but this sale takes the price for all three down to $270.97.
